Fuwa Fuwa Dessert Cafe has locations across North America and the UK, but not in Vancouver.
That won't be true for much longer.
The pancake shop, specializing in fluffy (its name is "Fluffy Fluffy" in Japanese), souffle pancakes, is opening a new location at 1510 Robson St. soon, likely in November.
The shop is currently being renovated for the new tenant; it's a street-level space in one of the new residential towers in the area. Recently, Perfecto Cafe opened up next door.
Fuwa Fuwa focuses on souffle pancakes with 15 different varieties to choose from, like cookies and cream, raspberry, and creme brulee. They also carry burnt-top cheesecakes and croffles (croissant-waffle hybrids).
