Sometimes you don’t know how much you love something until it’s not available to you – even temporarily.
That’s the case with Caffe Divano, located at 4568 Hastings St. in Burnaby Heights. The NOW received several frantic messages from its customers after hearing the place was closed.
“It’s like home,” said Heights resident C. Anders. “The food and the service are amazing. Do you know what’s happening?”
Well, what’s happening is something exciting as Caffe Divano is only closed temporarily because the company, which also operates cafes in Port Moody and Coquitlam, is giving the place a complete makeover.
The Heights coffee house scene is highly competitive, with a mix of small, independent places and large chains like Starbucks dotted up and down Hastings.
A makeover is a sign of how much the company is invested in this location so not to worry, Divano fans, something good is happening.
