Pull on your stretchy pants and get ready to feast on fare from the Land of the Rising Sun at the spring edition of the Japan Food Fair.
Hosted by the Vancouver Buddhist Temple, this “spring bazaar”-style event features heaps of traditional Japanese fare like maki (roll) sushi, saba (mackerel) nigiri sushi, chicken teriyaki, ohagi (sweet sticky rice balls), manju (Japanese steamed cake), udon noodles, and much more, all at affordable prices.
The Japan Food Fair takes place on Sunday, March 3, 2019 from noon to 2 pm, making it the ideal lunch destination if you’re in the area of the Vancouver Buddhist Temple on the east side of town.
Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly.
