There's no question Richmond has one of the most diverse food scenes in Metro Vancouver and that includes sweet treats for Valentine's Day.
With Valentine's Day just tomorrow, there is still time for people to order last-minute gifts and treats for their significant others or friends.
Here are some places in Richmond that offer limited items or special deals for the special day:
Fried chicken bouquet
Win Win Chick-N in Steveston is selling its annual Valentine's Day bouquet set of 12 pieces of fried chicken drumsticks and a personal-sized ube cake.
Orders are being accepted by clicking here until Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. with pickups at its 12160 First Ave. address.
Heart-shaped mini cake
Steveston's Sinfully the Best is selling three-inch heart-shaped mini cakes with private messages under a chocolate shell top for pre-orders.
The two-layer cakes come in vanilla, chocolate or raspberry buttercream filling.
Other Valentine's-themed treats on offer include specially-designed sugar cookies and chocolates.
The chocolate shop is at #110-12251 No. 1 Rd. and is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Heart-shaped macaron
If you're looking for something tinier and bite-sized, Little Fox Bakehouse in the city centre is selling heart-shaped pistachio raspberry macarons with a teddy bear head on the side.
The bakery is selling the macarons for $16 each and also a two-piece box of half-sized croissants filled with Kit Kat spread and topped with mini Kit Kat bars for just $6.
Little Fox Bakehouse is inside President Plaza at #1180 - 8181 Cambie Rd. and its opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday.
Rose cake
Daan Go Cake Lab is selling a multi-layered red velvet cake shaped like a giant rose with gold flakes for $45.
The cake has a milk chocolate base with freeze-dried raspberries and creamy white chocolate mousse.
The bakery is found at #100 - 4731 Garden City Rd. and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
