Tap & Barrel's Lower Lonsdale location has always had a pretty wicked patio situation, but now they've gone and dialled it up to an epic level. They are opening a 240-seat patio on the west side of their Shipyards location, and are touting it as B.C.'s first-ever year-round outdoor bar.
The patio is situated adjacent to the new Polygon Gallery in North Vancouver, right on the waterfront, and with a water feature of its own.
Tap & Barrel says the new patio space is intended to be open all year long thanks to the inclusion of heaters and fire pits.
The patio will be served from its very own first of its kind full-service outdoor bar, featuring an impressive 52 taps of B.C. craft brews, cider, and wine.
This mega patio set-up "marks a major milestone in the activation of the Lower Lonsdale community," says North Vancouver Mayor Darrul Mussatto in a media release.
"There is truly nothing like this patio!" adds T&B founder and patio mastermind Daniel Frankel.
A grand-opening ceremony for the new Tap & Barrel patio is slated for Friday, May 11 at 4 pm.
Tap & Barrel Shipyards is located at 8 Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.
