Desi Dosa Madras has locations in Coquitlam and Delta, and soon it will have one in downtown Vancouver.
The local Indian food chain will be opening its third location soon, according to signs at 1039 Granville St.
Known for a variety of dosas, the Desi Dosa Madras menu also features a variety of curries and has a wide variety of vegetarian options.
The new Indian restaurant is opening in a location that has seen several other restaurants open and close. Most recently it was the home to the short-lived Skewers Middle Eastern Cuisine.
Before that it was home to Anatolia's Gate (a Burnaby-based Turkish restaurant), Arabesque (a Syrian bakery/cafe) and Street Auntie (a high-end modern Chinese venture), among others, all over the past four years.
No opening date has been announced for Desi Dosa Madras' new location.
