Adding to the roster of an already bustling food scene, the Neptune Palace seafood restaurant, a Michelin recommended Chinese restaurant, just opened at the mall.
The new location of the Vancouver-based restaurant celebrated its grand opening on Jan. 23 while observing Lunar New Year.
Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming another fantastic restaurant to the Brentwood community. All the best to the owners and staff at the Neptune Palace Restaurant – happy to have you in Burnaby! The luncheon was absolutely delicious! 😋 pic.twitter.com/7XDL9cotuZ

Known for dim sum and classic Chinese dinner plates, Neptune Palace Seafood Restaurant is located on the upper level of the centre — next to the newly opened Ajishou Japanese Cuisine and right above the soon-to-open Earls.
The Vancouver branch was given the Michelin nod for its “wide range of mouth-watering options,” including “exceptionally plump, juicy shrimp, as well as warming bowls of congee,” according the Michelin Guide.
The Michelin-recommended restaurant is just one of the many anticipated additions to the food scene at the mall.
There are already plenty of brunch, lunch and dinner places at the mall — like the OEB Breakfast Co., Japanese-based Gram Cafe & Pancakes, Berlin-style Doner-Kebab Parsley, and more.
Shortly before the holiday season in 2022, La Taqueria opened its first Burnaby location at Brentwood for guests to savour a taste of Mexico. The mall also welcomed international ramen chain Jinya Ramen Bar in late 2022.
Although the details about openings are still up in the air, Hello Nori, billed as Vancouver's first Japanese hand roll bar, is set to expand to Burnaby in 2023 at the Amazing Brentwood, according to the mall’s website, on the heels of other big restaurant additions including Bella Gelateria, Tap & Barrel and Haidilao Hot Pot.
