Food festival season is on the horizon for Metro Vancouver, and will kick off off this spring at UBC.
The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival is rolling in 21 vendors to the Commons in front of the AMS Student Nest on April 3 and 4, showcasing a smorgasbord of international street cuisine.

- It's all about Grill
- Little Ooties
- MAHSHIKO
- Reel Mac and Cheese
- Say Cheese
- Shameless Buns
- Squid Shack
- STACKERS
- Street Dogs
- Taco Nori
- Tochi
- Tokyo Katsu-sand
- Truckin' BBQ
- Twisted Potato Express
- Wings
Organizers stated the food trucks were "carefully selected" for the free festival's 2025 return so students, faculty and the general public can taste "the best of Vancouver's mobile cuisine scene," according to a media release.
As well, UBC's multicultural community makes the Vancouver campus an ideal destination for Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival participants.
"The timing accommodates both lunch and dinner crowds, ensuring everyone can experience the diverse culinary offerings between classes or after lectures," the statement said.
The two-day event, which will take place rain or shine, will also feature covered dining areas, live music and entertainment, and an artisan marketplace by BC Shop Local.
