Robson Street will soon have a fresh new Korean seafood restaurant concept as Bada by Damso enters its final stages of prep before opening.
Bada is located at 1680 Robson St in the space that has previously been the short-lived Seafood Shake, the Vancouver outpost of Michi Craft Kitchen, and The Bubble Tea Shop.
The name "bada" means "sea or ocean," according to the restaurant owners, who also operate the popular Korean spot Damso on Denman.
Dishes heading to the Bada menu include seafood ramen with mussels, clams, and shrimp; fried soft shell crab; cold noodles with seafood; and beef tartare with sesame oil and seaweed.
The forthcoming restaurant has exterior signage up and has been hinting at moving into "soft opening" mode very soon, but no opening day has been shared as of yet.
