Imbibers, get ready to raise your glasses for a celebratory second round, as Vancouver Cocktail Week will be ready to pour on the good times for another year.
As an exciting follow-up to its pandemic-era debut, the multi-day event, featuring bar stars from around the world, the second annual Vancouver Cocktail Week (VCW) will take place from March 5 to 11, 2023.
Hosted by The Alchemist Magazine (a sibling publication to Vancouver Is Awesome), VCW will be even bigger and better than its inaugural installation.
The signature events are back, including the opening brunch and closing gala. In between those two big parties there will be a dozen seminars, cocktail-paired dinners and special events as well as VCW's "cinq à sept" series of elevated happy hours.
Now that we can travel again, international cocktail pros as well as national and international brand ambassadors will be flying in to share their expertise and join the fun.
One significant highlight is that VCW will also be the host of the prestigious Diageo World Class Canadian bartender competition finals.
The incredible Vancouver Cocktail Week 2023 programming includes ticketed brunch and dinner pairings; an "Oysters & Scotchtails" event at a Michelin-recommended restaurant; cocktail-making workshops; a Scotch and charcuterie pairing; late-night cocktail pop-ups; a dumplings and drinks how-to; coffee cocktails with Their There mochi donuts; no- and low-alcohol drinks workshop; a cocktail pairing dinner at the award-winning Vij's; and, of course, much more.
Full details about the events will be shared soon, and tickets go on sale starting Dec. 1.
