In a since-deleted Instagram post, operators of Vancouver Palestinian restaurant Tamam announced they are closing their Commercial Drive "To-Go" location.
Tamam To-Go's website reads "starting April 2023, this location will be closed and lunch service will be moved to our location at 2616 E. Hastings St."
The 1108 Commercial Dr space opened in 2020 and serves sandwiches, wraps, sambusec (meat pie), manakeesh (flat bread), and other lunch items via counter service or online ordering.
The 996-square-foot business was first listed for sale three months ago.
As of now, customers can still order online and there is no official closing date yet, but V.I.A. has reached out to Tamam for more information.
