After several years of looking out over False Creek, Seahouse Restaurant has closed for business.
The Italian eatery at 1089 Marinaside Cres. focused on pizza, pasta, and other dishes from the Mediterranean country since 2020. The restaurant also had live jazz nights.
Recently, though, the business quietly closed up. While its website is still up, Seahouse's social media accounts have gone quiet and OpenTable has stopped taking reservations.
The signs for Seahouse are gone, a for lease sign is up and a "Leased" sign is already posted; what will be replacing it has not been announced.
