Don't think of just dropping in for dim sum, sweet and sour pork or other house specialties at Coquitlam Centre's newest restaurant.
You'll likely need a reservation to dine at Neptune Seafood House in Coquitlam, which opened May 20 and is already popular with customers filling up spacious circular tables at noon on a Friday afternoon.
"Reservations are recommended," said a manager, who spoke to the Tri-City News about the new restaurant that moved into the former location of Montana's.
Among the popular favourites are dim sum, sweet and sour pork and Peking Duck, the manager told the Tri-City News.
The large, airy restaurant has high ceilings, chandeliers, a big screen showing an aquarium and numerous tables for diners.
A detailed menu of dim sum and all-day dishes is on the website.
Neptune Seafood Restaurant is operated by the same group that also runs the Neptune Seafood Restaurant, Neptune Wonton Noodle, Chinese Kitchen, BBQ House and Ryuu.
According to the website, high-quality seafood, including abalone, is among the specialties.
The restaurant group, which also has restaurants in Richmond and Burnaby, has been operating since 1997.
The restaurant is open every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then again from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
