The big jackpot was won in Quebec, but at least three British Columbians are waking up millionaires after Tuesday night's $70-million Lotto Max draw.
The BC Lotteries website shows three Maxmillions prizes were won by tickets sold in B.C. Those tickets were purchased in North Vancouver, Victoria and Maple Ridge.
A single winning ticket sold in Quebec won Tuesday's jackpot in a draw that also had 47 available $1 million Maxmillion prizes.
There are a total of 18 Maxmillions winners, some of whom will share $1 million.
Winning Maxmillion tickets were also sold in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.
The jackpot for the next draw on June 10 will be $43 million.
