Harbour Green Park in downtown Vancouver will be closed and turned into a film set from July 25 through 27, 2024.

From Thursday, July 25 to Saturday, July 27 a film set will be taking over Harbour Green Park.

The park, which runs along Vancouver's harbour directly west of the Vancouver Convention Centre and Jack Poole Plaza, will be shut down for an undisclosed "upcoming production," according to a press release from the park board. This includes the spray park and public washrooms at the park.

"The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation strongly supports Vancouver’s thriving film and TV industry, which creates major economic and community benefits for local residents and businesses," reads the release.

Along with the closure of the park there will be temporary alterations to traffic, with a diversion along the seawall.

"Cyclists, pedestrians and other seawall users are asked to exercise caution and observe all signage in the area," reads the release.

While vehicle traffic will be allowed along the adjacent Cordova Street, parking won't be allowed.

"The Park Board extends its thanks to residents and visitors for their consideration and patience while the park is used for this production," reads the release.
