Critically acclaimed American metal band Tool is in Vancouver this Monday, taking the stage at Rogers Arena for one night.

The band announced their tour this summer, with a variety of cities getting dates; along with stops in the usual Canadian metropolis like Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal, the band through Kelowna into the mix as well with a show on Oct. 22.

On Oct. 23 they'll play their Vancouver date, along with opening act Steal Beans, a one-man band.

Doors to the show open at 7 p.m. according to the band's website, though Rogers Arena's website and Ticketmaster both list 7:30 p.m.

Tickets

As of Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22, there are still many tickets available on Ticketmaster, both verified resale and never-been-sold tickets.

While a couple of tickets are as low as $119 (including fees), most are more than $160 (including fees) with some floor tickets going for more than $580. There are even pairs of seats in the first couple rows of the floor that are going for over $1,000 (after fees).

For those going, a reminder that screenshots of tickets are not accepted.

Restrictions

A few things aren't allowed in Rogers Arena for the show. Notably, some bags won't be permitted; all bags need to be under 35.5 cm by 35.5 cm by 15.2 cm. And for reference, 35.5 cm is just a bit over 13 inches.

Rogers Arena is also a smoke-free zone, as far as cigarettes and cannabis are concerned. The band may have smoke machines.

Other common sense items are to be left at home as well, like skateboards, selfie sticks, and outside food and drinks.

Cashless venue

Rogers Arena has gone cashless, so if you want to buy merch or a drink, you'll need some other method of paying for it. Cash is not king inside the arena.

Fan service

Rogers has a fan service number to text if there are any issues: 604-765-3267.

Merch

Tool will have merch for sale in Vancouver.

While they haven't released the image, at each show so far this tour they've released a special limited edition poster just for the show.
