VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Fire Rescue Services says crews extinguished a serious fire in a highrise Thursday in the city's West End.
The fire department says no one was injured in blaze, which started at about 6:30 p.m.
In a tweet Thursday, Fire Chief Darrell Reid commended firefighters putting out the fire quickly.
Two photos posted by Reid show flames shooting out of a unit.
