The body of a hiker who was reported missing on Wednesday near Coquitlam, has been found.
Coquitlam Search and Rescue says two hikers got lost on Eagle Ridge near Buntzen Lake, a popular destination for hikers, kayakers and swimmers.
While descending a steep gully with a water feature, following a creek downstream, one of them fell and died at the scene.
Coquitlam Search and Rescue also says in a tweet that both hikers were transported from the scene via long line.
Global is reporting that the hiker was a 16-year-old male.
