Snow has started to fall in Vancouver and locals are taking to social media to share videos of the first dusting in the city.
The Metro Vancouver weather forecast includes up to 10 cm of snowfall over high terrain heading into the weekend as a "strong pacific frontal system" moves onto the B.C. coast.
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the region on Friday (Dec. 17) that calls for snowfall over higher terrain starting on Friday during the day and continuing into Saturday morning.
Have a look at some of the photos and videos of the frosty scene shared by locals on Twitter.
