Students and staff at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) Surrey campus were being asked to take shelter on Thursday afternoon due to a potential threat.
Surrey RCMP said they did not find anything on campus and are wrapping up the scene.
Classes at KPU’s Surrey campus are still cancelled until 4 p.m. as a precaution.
Earlier, PU'sTwitter account said Surrey RCMP officers had received information of a “potential imminent threat” to the Surrey campus.
“If you are on campus, please shelter in place pending further updates,” reads the Twitter post.
