One lucky winner has a Lotto ticket worth $10.9 million in their pocket.
The winning ticket for Saturday, May 28 Lotto 6/49 jackpot draw was bought in New Westminster, after the six winning numbers 6, 13, 15, 29, 45, 48 were matched.
This is the fourth time in less than three months that a Lotto 6/49 jackpot ticket was bought in B.C., according to British Columbia Lottery Corporation in a media release.
John and Travis Bonner from Chilliwack bought a winning ticket from the March 9 Lotto 6/49 draw netting $8 million, Burnaby's Lana and Joery Leung won $6 million on March 16 draw, and Nang (Paul) Trinh) landed $18.7 million from the April 6 draw.
All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize.
The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.
