Hope you don't need that birth certificate!
Uber Canada's annual Lost and Found Index for 2022 revealed some bizarre items that were left behind by passengers, as well as the most commonly forgotten items.
Some of the most unusual items were a birth certificate, sample of construction tiles, gold teeth grills, a tiramisu cake, scanner, three packs of dish soap, a hockey jersey, and a submarine sandwich– also a skateboard, which was left behind in Vancouver.
The most commonly forgotten items would make someone a very unhappy camper. Phones, wallets and purses, keys, headphones, backpacks and bags, glasses, clothing, vapes and e-cigarettes, jewellery and watches, and water bottles all made the top ten most commonly forgotten items list.
Vancouver made the cut for one of the top 10 forgetful cities in Canada, taking fifth place.
Uber passengers going for a fun night out, hold onto your belongings extra tight: The index also found that Canadians are most forgetful at 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
But not all is lost! Passengers can still retrieve their lost items easily through the app.
