The Norwegian Bliss is one of the world's biggest cruise ships and it is set to make its only Vancouver stop this Sunday, September 30th.
The enormous ocean liner has made roundtrip voyages to Alaska all summer long; however, it hasn't been able to fit under the Lion's Gate Bridge. In fact, the ship will still have to wait a full day before it can disembark in order to wait for the tide to become low enough for it to do so.
As a result, the ship will dock at Canada Place early in the morning on Sunday, but it won't officially leave the harbour until 1.30 am the following day. Nevertheless, this provides viewers with a great deal of time to view the ship on Sunday, as it won't have the quick turnaround that most ships visiting the harbour do.

Norwegian Bliss Voyage
After the cruise departs Vancouver on Sunday, the cruise will make its way down the Pacific Coast on route to Los Angeles. Before it arrives, however, it will make a stop in Victoria as well as a stop in San Fransisco; it will also enjoy two days at sea.
With that being said, the sea days will be anything but boring. Soaring an incredible 20 decks high, the massive vessel accommodates a whopping 4,200 passengers - and that doesn't count crew.
