A Metro Vancouver teen will have some explaining to do to their parents after they were caught going 70 km/h over the posted speed limit.
The 17-year-old novice driver was driving a Tesla at 150 km/h on the 13600 block of Highway 10 in Surrey when officers pulled them over, Surrey RCMP shared in a tweet on Wednesday (Aug. 23).
The teen was issued an excessive speeding ticket worth $483. The Tesla was impounded for a week.
