Police arrested the woman twice in four days after random attacks in two different neighbourhoods.

Vancouver police arrested a woman in the city's Strathcona neighbourhood Saturday, Feb. 5, after police saw her randomly attack strangers.

Police patrolling the area saw the woman "randomly kicking and punching people as she walked near Main Street and National Avenue," according to a police press release.

They stopped, arrested her and spoke to a 26-year-old man who said he'd been assaulted by her. Others who were allegedly attacked by her were identified, but  "they didn’t want to participate in a court process," according to the Vancouver Police Department.

The suspect, identified by police as 38-year-old Samantha Towedo, has been charged with assault in connection to the incident on Saturday.

She's already facing a similar charge from a similar incident. On Tuesday, Feb. 1 a 23-year-old woman in Marpole was allegedly punched in the face after she was asked for a cigarette by a stranger and said no. Towedo is facing an assault charge related to the incident.
