Vancouver police arrested a woman after she allegedly assaulted three people in Downtown Vancouver on Sunday, April 7.
The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) received multiple 911 calls to the area near Georgia and Thurlow streets where a 32-year-old woman was reportedly "assaulting random strangers," according to a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Around 3:15 p.m., the suspect allegedly shoved a 37-old year mother to the ground while she was walking with her nine-year-old daughter and then stole her phone, Sgt. Steve Addison told V.I.A.
"Moments later, a 33-year-old woman had rocks thrown at her and a 57-year-old man was assaulted with a piece of wood," he said.
The man who was assaulted was able to pin down the suspect while witnesses called the police.
The VPD arrested the suspect and she remains in custody.
