Photos: Millions dropped from price of B.C. lakeside estate listing

More than a fifth of the original asking price has been dropped

While the housing market in B.C. is hot right now, not every place listed sells right away.

An estate in B.C.'s popular Okanagan Valley has recently been relisted for $4 million less than its original asking price.

Located in Coldstream, the massive property on the shore of Kalamalka Lake near Vernon was originally listed for $19.9 million in 2023. It's now listed for $15.9 million.

Even discounted, it's an expensive property; that same asking price could buy a remarkable house in Vancouver.

The 2.49-acre property is impressive; the main house has nearly 17,000 square feet of living space tucked away in its own little forest just up from the shore.

On top of that, there's also a beach house and guest house.

In all, there are seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Along with the houses, there is a private dock out into the popular lake (known for its changing colours), a man-made creek, and several patios (along with a 450-foot stretch of beach on the lake).
