The Best of BC Wine Country Awards is back for the second year!
As a crowd-sourced online survey curated by the BC Wine Institute, the Best of BC Wine Country Awards encourage the public to vote on their favourite BC wine experiences from specific “Best of” categories related to BC Wine and food tourism.
New to this year’s voting are awesome custom prizes, tailored to your specific wine-loving palate. Wine aficionados and consumers who vote and share their excitement on social media channels with hashtag #BestOfBC18 are entered to win 1 of 3 prizes, including…
1. A Best of BC wine gift basket
2. An overnight stay at a Best of BC Winery accommodation
3. Dinner for two at a Best of BC winery restaurant.
Prize specifics will be determined by the winner’s favourite BC Wine and wine region.
Speaking of which, B.C. has five official wine regions the Okanagan Valley, Similkameen Valley, Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands, in addition to the stellar wineries situated in the Thompson Valley; Shuswap; Lillooet; Kootenays and Prince George. No matter where you live in BC, there is a winery just a few hours away.
The Best of BC Wine Country annual awards aims to be the people’s choice awards for BC Wine Country. Winners are voted on by consumers – not wine experts. Its your time to have a say in what makes BC Wine Country a world-class wine destination.

The 2018 contest will run for four weeks launching on Monday, July 23 through August 17. Winners will be announced September 13 and promoted throughout the BC wine shoulder season.
