Not sure if you’ve seen it in the news but… supporting local is more important than ever.

Fortunately for foodies, there’s no shortage of local restaurants, pubs, bars, tasting rooms, or food trucks to support in Metro Vancouver and no better time to do so than right now.

Happening March 1-31, Bite of Burnaby will bring together more than 65 of Burnaby’s best restaurants, beloved establishments and hidden gems for a month-long food extravaganza featuring seriously unbeatable deals.

Saving while savouring

During this time, Burnaby will transform into a food lover’s paradise with participating restaurants opening their doors to patrons, with a unique opportunity to savour delectable dishes at jaw-dropping, mouth-watering prices. This year’s festival will see restaurants offering menus, combos and deals at more affordable prices than ever; starting as low as $10. In addition to great savings, diners can expect prix-fixe menus and limited edition specials.

Of course, Bite of Burnaby is about more than just food…

"Bite of Burnaby is about bringing people together through incredible dining experiences," says Chris Peters, Executive Director at Tourism Burnaby. "Whether you’re discovering a new favourite or returning to a beloved classic, this festival offers something for every palate."

And this year, the festival is stepping up its experience game with an exciting lineup of new food-centric events, From collaborative dinners to long-table gatherings and hands-on workshops, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into.

This year, Bite of Burnaby expands beyond the plate with an exciting lineup of immersive food experiences. From a Japanese Tea Ceremony celebrating Hinamatsuri to a Miso Making Workshop, food lovers can engage in hands-on culinary traditions. Chocolate enthusiasts can craft bean-to-bar chocolate or handmade truffles with Coconama, while those craving a feast can indulge in Taste of Trattoria’s multi-course Italian dining experience. Celebrate Holi with Kurry Wala’s vibrant festival buffet, or wrap up the month with Dinneraad at Dageraad Brewing, a long-table pairing of craft beer and locally inspired cuisine.

New faces at the table

With 65+ participating restaurants this year’s festival is bigger, bolder and more flavourful than ever. From casual eats to elevated multi-course meals, participating restaurants will offer curated dining experiences that highlight their signature dishes. Returning favourites include Mintara (formerly Horizons on Burnaby Mountain), offering an elegant four-course menu featuring surf and turf with lobster tail and red wine jus and Wild Flour Pizza, known for its handcrafted sourdough pizzas.

Bite of Burnaby 2025 will also welcome an exciting roster of new restaurants, including Bow & Stern, known for fresh West Coast seafood; HaiDiLao, offering an immersive hot pot experience; and beloved Korean comfort food, Na-Re Korean Kitchen.
