It’s the same story every year: You leave your holiday shopping until the last minute, and now you can’t find the right gift.
This year, why not get a head start on your Christmas shopping, find great gifts, AND get it all done in one weekend? It’s totally possible, because the 2023 Circle Craft Holiday Market is coming back to Vancouver from November 8 to 12!
With 291 vendors under one roof at the Vancouver Convention Centre, Western Canada’s largest craft market is triple the size of your typical craft market, which means it offers a much wider array of goods from Canadian artisans from coast to coast.
One trip to the Circle Craft Holiday Market will prove to you that no one is impossible to shop for. It’s a guarantee that you’ll find a unique gift for everyone on your list from the varied selection of locally-made items on display. Among the categories you’ll find at the market include jewelry, accessories, clothing, home decor, ceramics, material arts, fine art, prints, skincare and body care, gourmet foods, greeting cards and stationery, toys, textile art, handbags, toys, and more.
Plus, Circle Craft’s market vendors are selected by a jury based on their talents and diversity and come from a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds across Canada, so they’re all among the best in their crafts.
Still wondering what you can expect to find? Here are a few of the awesome makers you’ll see at this year’s Circle Craft Holiday Market:
Wild Life Illustration Co.
Kayoko Kawano finds endless inspiration in the great outdoors, which led the Tofino-based illustrator to share their appreciation for the wilderness and wildlife through art with Wild Life Illustration. 1% of the sales from their collection of greeting cards, prints, stickers, magnets, colouring books, and playing cards are donated to local organizations working to protect the environment.
Forest for Dinner
Husband-and-wife team Ben and Celia founded Forest for Dinner as a way of sharing their experience with foraging wild foods from the rainforests of Vancouver Island, as well as throughout the ecosystems of Canada and Europe from which they harvest. Based in Port Alberni, they package, process, and sell small-batch selections of mushrooms, greens, berries, and spices into fresh, frozen, and preserved products.
Winterluxe Recycled Cashmere
Winter is coming, and Winterluxe’s recycled cashmere and leather goods are bound to keep you cozy and warm throughout the chilly months ahead. Designed by Janna Hurtzig, the collection of cozy winter accessories made of the luxury textiles includes cashmere mittens, fingerless gloves, arm warmers and leg warmers, and toques, along with the all year round mosaic leather pouch.
