Arguably our nation’s greatest treasure, Colin Mochrie is not only a Vancouver TheatreSports (VTS) alum, but a down-to-earth and genuine performer who can connect with every person in an audience. Which is why you should take advantage of this chance to see the improv icon – and VTS can help with that.
With performances on May 30, 31, and June 1, you’ve got three chances to have a once-in-a-laugh-time experience. Keep it small and silly at The Improv Centre on Granville Island on May 30 and 31, or make a night of it and see Colin perform at The Vogue Theatre, located in Vancouver’s entertainment district, on June 1.

Turn a fun night into a funny and budget friendly night – tickets start at only $29 (where else can you see an improv icon for only $29?), and join VTS at The Colin Mochrie Experience on Saturday, June 1 at The Vogue Theatre. The literal LOLs will be loud in this 1200 seat theatre, located in the heart of Vancouver’s Entertainment District. This performance features Colin, alongside members of VTS’s talented ensemble, and we can guarantee you will be doubled over in the aisle.
For a chance to really get to know the classic comic, come to Colin Up Close and Personal, on Thursday, May 30. This is your chance to catch all of Colin’s expressive comedic nuances. You’ll see a full 90-minute performance starring Colin, and members of the VTS ensemble, and have a chance to ask a few questions, as this performance includes a Q&A session with the legend himself (and the audience gets to ask the questions!). BTW we’ve heard that if you show up a little early and grab a drink in VTS’s Neil Macrae Bar & Lounge, you might just run into Colin. Show tickets are priced at $99 (theatre seats) and $109 (tables /banquette seats).
Join VTS for Colin and Friends, on Friday, May 31. This performance feels less like a show and more like a night of laughs with old friends. In VTS’s 186 seat theatre, every seat is a good seat, and this is bound to be one unforgettable evening. By the way, you don’t have to worry about guzzling your drink before the show; you can bring your beverages into the theatre and sip them as the funny unfolds onstage. Prices for these performances are $89 (theatre seats) and $99 (tables/banquette seats).
