Ponderosa is a totally independent three-day outdoor, camping arts and music festival that takes place in Rock Creek, B.C. (30 minutes east of Osoyoos). The third annual festival will feature 25 bands from B.C. and beyond, alternating on two stages August 21-23.
Organizers Kris and Kia offer a chilled out environment with yoga, pancake breakfast, fresh Okanagan fruits, river floating, tipis to sleep in, and some of the best drinking water in Canada.
A weekend pass at Ponderosa goes for as low as $125. That includes camping by the Kettle River, parking, and three days of Arts -Music - Freshness.
This summer's line-up includes Mounties, The Harpoonist and The Axe Murderer, Bear Mountain, TLGLTP, Fort Knox Five, Pumpkin, High Ends, Herald Nix, The Gay Nineties, Fake Shark, and Kandle Osborne. Full list.
