On July 13th, a first-of-its-kind festival will take over the False Creek and Olympic Village area of Vancouver for an unreal day of art, music, culture and community, ending in a magical and mesmerizing drone show, the largest of its kind in Vancouver’s history.
But don’t be fooled. This is no ordinary festival. This is the Bootleggers x Pixel Summer Festival.
Held during what’s expected to be one of the most beautiful days of the year, this immersive festival experience will feature an Art Walk exhibiting a diverse range of creative work by 100+ local and international artists; 50+ live performances by local musicians and DJs and a curated marketplace showcasing over 100 local vendors offering everything from artisan crafts to unique jewellery, and never-before-seen gems.
The festival – which runs from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 50 Pacific Boulevard Vancouver – will also host some of Vancouver’s most beloved local food trucks, a “Peaceful Lounge” for relaxing and a Craft Cocktail Garden featuring art-inspired craft cocktails by the festival’s presenting partner Bootleggers Cocktail; a premium canned cocktail company from Vancouver.

That said, the ticketed Main Music Stage will feature direct access to the festival’s local and headliner performers and DJs as part of an electrifying outdoor music experience set against the stunning backdrop of False Creek. As the sun sets, prepare to be mesmerized by the Bootleggers x Pixel live drone show, which will marry art, music and technology directly over the waters of Vancouver. The drone show will be visible from around False Creek Bay.
