For the past decade, Evo Car Share has been more than just a way to get around. This local company has started a movement toward a more connected, sustainable and accessible B.C. Since launching in 2015 with 250 hybrid cars in Vancouver, Evo has expanded to nine cities and grown to 2,500 cars, giving almost a quarter million members the freedom to go where they need to every day.

On March 24, to mark the occasion, Evo offered unlimited, free 10-minute trips all day long. Whether you're running errands, taking a spontaneous road trip or using the ski racks and heading up the mountain, Evo makes it easier and more affordable to do life in B.C.

From here to there with room for your friends, Evo Car Share is proud to be local and dedicated to helping British Columbians experience the province while saving on costs associated with car ownership.

“Our goal was to give people in B.C. a better way to get around, even if they didn’t own a car. Since launching a decade ago, we’ve grown our hybrid and electric fleet and massively expanded the communities and members we serve,” says Amitis Khorsandi, vice president, Evo Car Share.

You never pay for gas or insurance with Evo and Evo’s cars can park at meters, permit-only and lots of reserved spots in parking lots around town. With no surge pricing, members pay only for the time they use, whether by the minute, hour or day, automatically getting the best possible rate for their trip.

Evo has also introduced a limited-time drop of Evo merchandise. This collection of shirts was designed for Members who live for adventure. Throw on an Evo tee for a casual weekend look, layer it up for an outdoor escape or rep the swag to connect with fellow Evo enthusiasts. And to keep you on the move, Evo is offering minute bundles through the Evo store so you can save more on your next trip.

The go-to choice for those who need a car without the financial burden or hassle of ownership, Evo operates across nine cities: including Vancouver, North Vancouver, New Westminster, Burnaby, Surrey, as well as in Victoria and Nanaimo. Evo has also expanded its fleet to include Evolve E-Bike Share which has brought back free e-cargo bikes to North Vancouver for a second year.

As Evo celebrates its 10th year, the company is proud to support local events, charities and initiatives that make a difference across B.C. Evo proudly partners with organizations like ISSofBC, Ethos Lab and PaRx to ensure access to safe, affordable transportation for those who need it most. By helping people skip the costs of car ownership, Evo empowers them to focus on life’s bigger goals.
