The role of a Support Advisor, otherwise known as a Customer Support Representative is to help set up business owners for success. Especially now, as many are directing their full attention towards ecommerce, having access to resourceful and reliable support is crucial.
The job responsibilities include delivering human-centred, high-quality customer experiences through chat, phone, and emails. Acting as a business coach, Support Advisors will listen, teach, problem solve, and explore holistic growth opportunities with merchants, connecting them with new features or plans to ensure they get the most out of the Shopify platform.
As a Support Advisor, you’ll work remotely from the comfort of your home — with Shopify providing a laptop and all the technical gear needed for the job — while working within a dynamic, diverse, and supportive environment.

To qualify for the position, job applicants need to:

live and have legal authorization to work in Canada

have extensive experience providing exceptional customer service in a contact centre, retail, or service environment, and

have the willingness to learn all about entrepreneurship
Schedule flexibility is key as well, as Support Advisors will work a combination of weekdays, weekends, and holidays in a full-time capacity.
