Travellers can book one of the most popular cruises out of Vancouver for a bargain in any room category right now.
Round-trip cruises from Vancouver to Hawaii allow guests to enjoy the islands without stepping on a plane. Also, visiting the Aloha State is significantly cheaper on a cruise because all meals, accommodation, transportation, and entertainment are included.
A 17-day Hawaii Circle cruise with Holland America Line (HAL) works out to just over $150 per diem, per person on a sailing departing in April 2025. These deals tend to sell out, so travellers keen on comfort and affordability should book tickets early.
Holland America is known for its mid-size vessels featuring a more traditional onboard experience. Fans of the cruise line typically enjoy sailing on ships they can become well acquainted with during the voyage and relish opportunities to speak with the captain and cruise director.
The five-star Koningsdam departs Canada Place on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025, at 3 p.m. and spends five days at sea before reaching Hilo on the Big Island in Hawaii. While this may seem like a long time to spend on the water, many travellers relish exploring the ship, trying out different restaurants, seeing impressive live entertainment, and relaxing on the high seas.
The ship features two swimming pools, a live theatre, a tennis court, renowned spa treatments, movies under the stars, a basketball court, a video arcade, a casino, and much more. The "Pinnacle" class ship also allows guests to create a wine blend from a selection of single vineyard red wines.
The ship also includes a popular overnight in Honolulu, meaning guests don't have to worry about rushing to the ship after a day in port. It also arrives early at 8 a.m. and doesn't depart until 6 p.m. the next day.
The itinerary also includes a stop in Kahului in Maui before it sails to Honolulu. After one more stop on the Big Island in Kona, the cruise makes a final stop in Nawiliwili, Kauai before crossing the Pacific back to Vancouver.
The ship disembarks at Canada Place on Tuesday, April 22 after spending five days at sea.

Cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii with Holland America
The total cost of the cruise is $5,593.44 or $2,796.72 per person for the 17-day sailing. This works out to $164.51 per diem (see slide two).
The cost includes transportation on a beautiful five-star vessel, gourmet meals, entertainment, snacks, and lodging. The only thing it doesn’t factor in is alcohol, but purchasing a drink package can reduce the costs.
Hawaii offers a range of natural gems to explore on each island and numerous places to dine, shop, and catch live shows. From the Mauna Kea Summit to the massive, approachable populations of manta rays, the rich history of Lahaina to the stunning Waikiki Beach, the islands ooze tropical beauty.
