Find out how to get cheap Vancouver flights from YVR airport to Paris, France with WestJet.

If you want to visit Paris before swarms of visitors descend on the city for the 2024 Olympic Games, prices for tickets from Vancouver drop this fall.

The City of Love is one of the most visited cities in the world and millions of tickets for the Summer Olympics have already been sold over a year in advance.

Paris is also popular over the holidays, with tourists flocking to the romantic city to watch its glimmering lights twinkle on crisp cold nights. Before that happens, however, the "shoulder season" -- roughly October through November -- offers some of the lowest prices on tickets to the destination.

Vancouverites can typically expect to pay anywhere from $1,350 to $2,100 for a round-trip ticket to the French capital, according to Google Flights.

But there are several travel dates in November that offer return service for under $700 CAD including all taxes and fees.

For example, a WestJet one-way flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) that departs Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on Sunday, Nov. 19 costs $356 including all taxes and fees.

Use the Google Flights price calendar to find the cheapest dates around your availability but also consider booking directly with the airline. If you do book through a cheaper third party, make sure it is a reliable one.

Return trips cost even less than the price of two one-way tickets. For instance, a flight that departs from Vancouver on Friday, Nov. 24, and returns on Wednesday, Nov. 29 costs $689 including all taxes and fees.
