Tickets for Vancouver to Montreal flights are significantly cheaper right now than they will be for the remainder of the year.
While ultra-low-cost carrier Flair Airlines has traditionally offered the lowest fare on the route, its prices have increased slightly, with the lowest price for a one-way ticket starting at $89. Previously, tickets for flights outside of "peak season" could be purchased for as little as $57.
Relative newcomer Lynx Air now offers the lowest fares on the popular route connecting Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL).
For example, one-way flights on the route can be purchased for as little as $63 on several dates in September, according to Google Flight's price calendar.

After September, the lowest price for a one-way flight is $121 in October with Lynx Air, followed by one $69 ticket on Nov. 30. There are several tickets for $89 in November and December, as well as heading into the New Year.
The cheapest flights from Vancouver on return trips are also in September. For example, a flight that departs on Saturday, Sept. 9 and returns on Friday, Sept. 15 costs $152 including taxes and fees.
Lynx Air first launched flights out of the city in April 2022, with direct service to Calgary. It later added service from the city to Edmonton, Toronto, Kelowna, and Winnipeg.
