Vancouver's sunny and dry streak is expected to stick around through Halloween weekend, however the weather forecast may switch to a wet downpour next week.
Despite the decidedly frigid shift over the past week, the rest of fall and winter might see temperatures trend slightly above average according to Environment Canada.
Starting Saturday (Oct. 28), the weather forecast over Halloween weekend will be sunshine and clear skies up until the spookiest day itself on Tuesday (Oct. 31), according to V.I.A.'s Downtown Vancouver Weatherhood station.
The hyper local weather network calls for stormy weather to roll into the region on Wednesday with a 55 per cent of rain and a chance of thunderstorms.
The chance of rainfall is expected to bump up to just over 80 per cent on Thursday and Friday, with more thunderstorms expected on Friday.
Overall, Weatherhood calls for temperatures to hover between highs of 11 and 14 C over the next week.
