I’m not sure if you’ve ever been to Punjabi Market around Diwali time but at that time of year it is pretty much the most awesome, bangin’ time where people will randomly just be lighting off fireworks in the middle of the street. It’s not Diwali now, but last week it kinda felt a bit like it up there…

In order to sell Halloween fireworks in the city this year basically all a local business had to do was pay $250 for a permit. Hence the Indian buffet at 50th and Main stocking a huge variety of fireworks that were piled about 15 feet away from their buffet. I only had my phone with me so I apologize for the crappy photo but you get the idea.
