Every day is a new chance to eat something you've never tried before, and thankfully Vancouver is always coming through with new restaurants - or new locations of favourite restaurants - for us to check out.
From comforting plates of pasta to steamer baskets full of dumplings, and loaded hot dogs or all-day breakfasts, there are plenty of just-opened, or soon-to-open, restaurants worth checking out.
Here are 13 new and upcoming Vancouver restaurants to put on your list.
