Want to spice up your weekend plans?
CarnaWest is set to transform Westminster Pier Park into a lively festival complete with live music, food, drink, art, sport, and all things Brazil this Sunday, Aug. 4.
Presented by the Brazilian Community Association of BC, the event kicks off at noon and offers a vibrant mix of samba, forró, pagode, and axé. In addition, the crowd will be dancing well into the evening, and there will be a beer garden on hand for when you get thirsty.
There will also be a smorgasbord of food trucks including Roots Truck, Whatafood, and other delectable Brazilian offerings.
The fun takes place on Sunday, Aug. 4 in Westminster Pier Park at noon and runs until 8 p.m.
