One young Vancouverite had a very special birthday.
Coldplay performed in Vancouver over the weekend on Sept. 22 and 23, and both concerts looked like a sky full of stars.
Among everything that happened on both nights, including opening each show with a First Nations land acknowledgement, Chris Martin, the lead singer and pianist of the group, also performed an impromptu - and very special - song.
Leo, a 10-year-old boy who chose to celebrate his birthday at Coldplay's Saturday concert (his first concert too!), was called up on stage with his mother for a special surprise.
Seated next to Martin behind a piano, Leo appeared awestruck as the singer belted out a birthday song just for him.
"Leo, I'm so happy that you're sitting here with me," Martin sings. "I can't think of a better place to be when you turn 10."
The band shared the video to their Instagram on Tuesday.
Happy birthday Leo!
