Colin Mochrie returning to Vancouver improv stage for five shows

The legend is back

Killarney Secondary School graduate and improv legend Colin Mochrie is returning to a Vancouver stage this June.

Mochrie, who helped start improv theatre in Vancouver, is appearing for five shows at the Improv Centre, which is where it all began for him (back when it was known as Vancouver Theatre Sports).

He went on to star in Whose Line is it Anyway? (in the U.K. and the U.S.), has popped up in Ted Lasso, appeared in Blackfly, and  (spoiler) won the Canadian version of Last One Laughing.

“We count ourselves very lucky to have such a talented, kind, and collaborative alumni member who makes us all feel like part of the team. We can’t wait to perform with Colin again!” says Improv Centre artistic director Jalen Saip in a press release.

Mochrie will be back for five shows at the Improv Centre's Granville Island stage. He'll be in one show on June 4 and two shows each on June 5 and 6.
