Outdoor summer movie nights are back!
The Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA) revealed this year's July and August showtimes in a May 1 Instagram post.
Every Thursday evening starting July 6 until August 17, locals can gather at Šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl'e7énḵ Square (formerly the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza)
to watch new and throwback films on a large inflatable screen.
"This summer's lineup might also be our most iconic yet," says DVBIA.
The series kicks off on July 6 with Twilight, followed by Bend It Like Beckham, Legally Blonde, and The Lego Movie. In August locals can watch screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Topgun Maverick, and, to wrap up the event on Aug. 17, Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Movie nights begin at 5 p.m. with screenings starting around 9 p.m.
