A week ago we told you about the amazing new projected Tracks On Tracks...but in case you missed it:
Our friends at Green Couch Sessions and CBC Radio 3 are putting together a trip from Vancouver to Toronto on the VIA Rail (not Vancouver Is Awesome rail, VIA Rail) train The Canadian, and they're taking western Canadian Bands with them! Three of which they have already chosen (VIAindie fav Adaline was announced last week and THE BELLE GAME was just announced today on Radio 3, with the third band to be announced next week), and three more are going to be voted in by the public.
Well now they've shortened the list to FIFTY bands and short-list voting starts today. If you CLICK HERE or on the photo above you can see the list of bands. (One vote per computer!)
There is so much talent on there, so I (as VIA's Indie Music Editor) only suggest that you support your local favourites. I know that's what I'll be doing.
