Fat Bastard Burrito is moving into Metro Vancouver with its first Western Canadian location opening Dec. 3, 2024 in Langley.

Before the end of the year, Metro Vancouver will have a Fat Bastard Burrito.

The burrito chain has more than 90 locations in Eastern Canada, but the furthest west they stretch is Sault Ste Marie in central Ontario. That is, until December.

Fat Bastard will open its first location in Western Canada in Langley, the business shared in an email.

The new restaurant will open to the public at 20439 88 Ave on Dec. 3.

The quick-service restaurant offers a variety of Mexican dishes, including burritos, rice bowls, quesadillas, and tacos.

Akin to some other fast Mexican food places, they offer a variety of fillings for people to choose from for their burritos, like roasted chicken, sweet potato, and crispy fish, among others. Along with rice, they also offer noodles as a base.

Also on the menu is a cheesecake burrito.

Fat Bastard launched in 2010 in Toronto, and most of their locations are in Ontario. In 2022, the company was bought by Mary Brown's Chicken, the Canadian-based fried chicken chain.
