A Vancouver tradition, Meat and Bread celebrates the holidays with their annual Christmas Turducken sandwich. This year due to popular demand, both Vancouver locations will be serving the Turducken'wich for three days from Monday, December 21st to Wednesday, December 23rd.
Meat and Bread first cooks up their famed turducken, a deboned chicken stuffed into a deboned duck stuffed into a deboned turkey along with their homemade stuffing. The turducken is then generously sliced and piled onto a sandwich with cranberry sauce for a bite of holiday heaven. This holiday lunch is a steal at $10.50 and the perfect way to get into the spirit of feasting.
Tips for surviving Meat and Bread’s turducken'wich.
1. Come hungry, very hungry.
2. Arrive early, before the shop opens at 11am, if you wish to be at the front of the line-up.
3. The line-up does move quickly and is worth the wait.
4. Festive lunches deserve holiday cheer-pair your turducken’wich with a glass of local wine or craft beer.
