While White Spot perfected its "legendary" burger and "Triple-O" sauce over the last several decades, its quick-serve sibling, Triple-O's, is marking a major milestone this month with rollback pricing.
Triple O's got its start in 1997 (nearly 70 years after Nat Bailey launched White Spot) with its debut location at 805 Thurlow St in Vancouver's bustling Robson Street shopping zone. (That location closed just over a decade ago and the address is currently home to the Dank Mart snack shop.)
To mark its 25th anniversary, the restaurant chain - which hones in on burgers, fries, and shakes - will take pricing back for one day only on Sept. 20, 2022 to what it was on opening day, offering the Triple O's Original Burger for just $3.49.
As a way of giving back, Triple O's will donate $0.50 of every Original Burger sold in B.C. that day to Food Banks BC.
Cathy Tostenson, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for White Spot and Triple O’s, said giving back to the community is a key element of the anniversary celebration. “It’s exciting to reach such a milestone, but knowing we can help raise awareness and funds to fight hunger makes it even more meaningful and relevant."
Since launching in 1997, Triple O's has grown to include 64 premium quick service restaurants throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Asia, along with five mobile Triple O’s ‘On the Go’ food trucks.
Burger fans take note: the anniversary pricing is valid all day on Sept. 20 for dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru only. The offer is not valid at Triple O’s locations at Douglas College (Coquitlam), PNE, BC Ferries or sports arenas, as well as White Spot full-service restaurants.
