A West End donut shop has already closed just a few months after serving its first customers.
Vegas Donuts appears to have closed its second location at 1610 Robson St. earlier this month. It had just opened in September.
While it hasn't been announced online or at the location (a sign at the shop simply states it's closed "today"), the small storefront at the Robson Public Market appears empty.
More tellingly, the location is currently up for sale and is listed as "permanently closed" on Google.
"Currently a well-equipped bakery with recent renovations," reads the real estate listing.
The address has also been removed from Vegas Donuts' social media profiles.
The location, unit 108 in the West End mall, has seen a lot of turnover recently. Earlier in 2024, Simit Bakery shuttered its shop after less than a year. Prior to that, the Khaykery Bakeshop was based there before moving on. It was also Casablanca Crepes for a few years.
Vegas Donuts is a relatively new operation; the first one only opened in May of this year. It's still open at 4003 Knight St. near the intersection with Kingsway.
